Awww. I saw a girl walking through the airport this past week with her parents and her two American Girl dolls in her arms. It looked like one was brand new. I can't wait until Megan is old enough to like American Girl. My mom and I have our trip to New York all planned out already. Haha.

I wish I would have been more coherent when I originally saw this. I just ordered a bitty baby and the booster. LO already has one but this might be a nice big sister gift for her in a couple of months. It's a steal and I wish we could have got our hands on a big one

Wow. That went fast. I had been thinking about getting LO a Bitty Baby for Christmas since she keeps talking about wanting a baby sister (ha!) but they are all gone. I refuse to pay full price though so hopefully there will be another sale!

UGH - the Bitty Babies I want were already sold out. They were also sold out a week or so ago on Zulily.
If anyone sees other deals on Bitty Babies (or knows if/when Bitty Babies go on sale), please let me know!

Hmm, debating whether or not I want to get one of the remaining bitty babies. $58 shipped is still a lot for a baby doll! I never had American Girl stuff growing up... what makes it better than other dolls??

@78h2o: Is there an American Girl store near you? That's the reason I got one. I have one of the big dolls for LO when she's older (maybe 5 or 6). I'm planning to make it a yearly tradition to take her and her doll to the store on her birthday. You can have afternoon tea there and maybe let her pick out an outfit. It's way overpriced, but I think it'll be a special thing we can do together once a year!

@lawbee11: Thanks! I'm outside of Baltimore, so I could take her to the one in NYC or DC... or maybe Houston when I visit my sister. Well, I went ahead and bought a bitty baby. My DH might kill me! I could probably get my parents to buy it from me to give her as a bday or Christmas gift though.

Bummer, i just realized that it's been a week and no shipping yet. I went to search email and no confirmation. I called and they have no record of my order. It appears it got lost in the process. I'm really bummed.
