How do you get/find these Starbucks deals? I've never gotten anything other than my normal single star at a visit...

@sarah.clarisse: Are you signed up for their emails? I started getting more offers once I reached gold status.

I got an email that says if I visit 9, 12 or 15 days in a row, I get 9, 12 or 15 stars. The subject was 'Start
A rewarding routine'. Haven't gotten any emails on the summer star dash.

I don't go to Starbucks everyday, so this visiting 9 times will be pretty difficult for me.

I got the same one. With an 8 week old at home, it takes too much effort to get dressed and make it to starbucks.

@locavore_mama: I didn't get my email yet - last Dash I got mine a few days later than everyone else.

Haven't gotten an email yet! I think Canadian offers come later, usually.

@lawbee11: I go probably twice a week? It sucks that you go every day and still get nada?

@locavore_mama: yeah i've never seen anything pop up in my account. My DH however, has all kinds of offers all the time! I think I may be too lazy to actually do anything more about this other than complain

Can someone please explain the starbucks rewards program to me? I downloaded the app i get the emails but i havent earned any stars yet. I go maybe 2-3 times a week to the drive through and pay with my debit card

I got the 5 for 10/8 for 20 offer as well, but hubby's offer was way worse - collect 9 stars earn 10 and collect 13 earn 20! My offers are always better than his, and he actually emailed Starbucks to complain one time - they sent him free drink coupons

@Chillybear: Yup, like @lawbee11: said, anytime you go to starbucks ALWAYS use your app to pay. If you don't have money on your app, you can ask to load money onto the app before your purchase. Also, when I say app, there are actually gift cards loaded on your app. Whenever I get a new gift card because of a gift or something, I register that card under my app, then transfer the amount on that card to my primary card. That way I don't have 3-4 cards with random amounts of money on it. All of my 'starbucks' money is on one card.

So basically, any purchases made with that app (or any registered gift cards in that app) will get your a star. I had to buy some gift cards last week and I thought I only got stars for food or drink purchases. Nope, I got a star for my gift card purchase! I had to load money onto my card first, but it worked.

@T-Mom: @MrsS_Alpha: What address do you use to contact them? I signed up for emails and texts and never get any! I go maybe 2x/month, and use my app. Don't know what I'm doing wrong!

@jedeve: I'm pretty sure he just used the customer service form for Sbux cards on their website (http://customerservice.starbucks.com/app/contact/ask_cards/). He told them I was always getting offers but he never got any, and that he had checked that he was opted in for both email & text offers. I don't know that his offers have gotten much better, but he did get the vouchers...

I got an email this morning for a free drink for today only. I downloaded the app last week and hadn't used it yet. I assume they were trying to persuade me to start using it. It may have worked...
