@snowjewelz: Cool! Thanks. I follow Queen Bee but I haven't seen this list yet. Thanks for posting.

It's near impossible for me to get popular items. I wished there was a way to set up mobile alerts!

@regberadaisy: I setup alarms on my phone a few minutes before deals start. I think I had like 9 alarms going off throughout the day last year.

@bluestriped bee: ha ha duh. I really want a skip hop backpack! The popular animals go so fast!!

How in the world are you supposed to get these deals? They are gone so fast some of them! I waited this morning for a skip hop toy. was on Amazon right at 8 am and it was gone just like that!

@regberadaisy: @mrskc: Reminds me of trying to score concert tickets on TM and not understand how it's so out 2 seconds into it!

Thanks for posting! I'm waiting for the Nest deal to start, but I can't figure out when.
@mrskc: do you have Prime? For some of the deals Prime members get a 30 minute head start.

@regberadaisy: I gave myself about 2 minutes before the deal but I missed one of the deals because I wasn't in the same room as my phone and by the time I go on the computer it was gone. If you do this I would give yourself 5 minutes. Then you can put it in your account and click buy when it's time.
@mrskc: Oh, yeah, if I remember it correctly, I think I put it in my cart and refreshed it when it was time and clicked the 1-click ordering. Yeah, you'll have to set up the 1-click ordering in advance. Like I said above, give yourself 5 minutes (not 2 min like I did) to get to your computer to buy the deal quickly.

@bluestriped bee: oh, shoot.. If i add the item to my cart before the sale starts I wonder if it would update to the deal price?! Once it's in the cart you have 15m to purchase.

@Shutterbug: yeah I have prime. This one wasn't a prime deal tho. ugh
@bluestriped bee: I was trying to do it on my phone in the app so maybe I need to do it on my computer so I can refresh and buy right away! I think I have 1 click buying activated already. Thanks for the tips!

@regberadaisy: oh you have 15 m to purchase? So I can just add to cart right away to get the deal?
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@mrskc: @regberadaisy: @bluestriped bee: you don't need one-click on, because you just have to add it to your cart to claim it. Once it's in your cart you have like, 10 minutes (maybe 15?) to check out. That's why there's a waiting list - for people who put it in their cart and then change their minds or don't check out in time.

@regberadaisy: Sometimes. I think lightning deals you have add the product into your cart when it's the sale price. But other products update automatically. Yeah, I wonder if I can find the Amazon policy where it states the rules.

@Shutterbug: I see now. I didn't realize I could just add it to my cart to claim it. thanks!

@Shutterbug: oh, yeah. I do remember the wait list.

Man this sounds so stressful lol. At least it's just on the computer, no standing in line or pushing & shoving at a store!
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
@mrskc: yeah, the thing with the waitlist (from what I remember last year was that you could shop or use other websites using different tabs but if you don't click back to your amazon tab, you could miss your deal. Yeah, if I'm wait listed I would make sure my amazon site is always showing and open another window side by side to do other things while I wait.
