I need to buy some new sleep sacks in a larger size for Olive for home and for daycare (she's starting soon!).
Anyone see any deals for them? I don't know why I am being cheap about them even though they get daily use! Maybe because I need to buy a bunch...

They're on baby steals (which pp already mentioned) but you can always find them in the archives on babysteals. Just go to their home page and then click on the little bird at the top left. Brings up the archives with whatever sizes they have left.

@Bao: I love Amazon, but I've had really good luck with baby steals too. They sold out of an item I had purchased and they contacted me immediately about a replacement and offered free shipping on my next order.

@Thehistoryofus: yah i have an xl halo sleep sack, merino kids sleep sack, and a grobag left over from Charlie, but they are all way too big for olive. i just need 3-4 fleece sleep sacks for this winter.

i don't have the time to make it to burlington coat factory or tjmaxx.... babies r us with shipping it wasn't really much different than amazon.
@MerryC: and diapers.com is slightly cheaper than amazon so i think i will have to go with that. thanks!

@Mrs. Bee: I ordered some from diapers.com too. I think they were the cheapest ones I could find. BTW, have you tried the ones with the legs vs the sack? I'm curious to see how the legs one works because my DD loves kicking her legs. I'm afraid the sack ones might be too restricting.

@banana: I have the halo "early walker " sleep sack for my walking DS. It's great since he stands up in his crib and I would worry about his tripping over the bag. but I have only seen fleece material, which is really heavy and this basketball jersey material that seems way too thin. I wish they would make an in between fabric weight.

@T-Mom: Thanks for your response! My DD is only 6 months so I'm not too worried about her standing up in her crib. Man, if she could stand up, that would be amazing actually!! Maybe I should get one of each and see which she prefers. Do you find that the fleece material gets linty? I hate lint!

@banana: i never used the ones with the legs. charlie used sleep sacks until he was just over 2, and never had a problem walking in them.

@banana: it doesn't seem linty to me. But we have an ivory color so maybe I just don't notice? It may not be a necessity for you especially since your DD doesn't walk yet. It worked great for DD since she would trip over herself in the non-legged bags, so I just passed it down to DS.
