@Smurfette: everything she has from h&m runs a little big, but she's petite, so that plays into it. A couple days ago she wore a 2-4 months t-shirt (that I bought for the spring!) and it fit perfectly. I did buy the dress in 6-9 though, since she will be 9 months during the shoot & I want her to be able to wear it all winter (even if it's a bit big now). You may want to size down for R!

@Smurfette: LO is in 24m and even 2T in some brands. But in H&m she can still be in 12-18 but there is no room to grow. I've been buying 1-1/2yr and even 2yr for spring. She's almost 18m.
The one thing I have noticed is the leg area around the onesies are tight for chunky thighs!

@Smurfette: I would order 6-9! As far as the onesies, I just bought a bunch of 3 for $12 long-sleeves for layering. I bought 6-9 and have plenty of room to grow. Sadie's thighs are only moderately chunky though.

h&m definitely runs 1-2 sizes big for clothes under 2T. Once they're 3T it is closer to true to size, but their pants still run big,

@Smurfette: for reference, DS wears 12 and 12-18 month and just fit into a 3-6 month sweater from last winter. same goes for the pants we have too, bought them 9-12 and won't fit him for a good while!

@mrsjyw: I don't remember his last measurement! I have a huge head too. I tried to put a Childrens Place 18m sweater on him yesterday and it legitimately WOULD NOT fit over his head. Like at all. I 
our h&m sweater because it has side buttons for big noggins
