@LovelyPlum: hehe thanks! I'm still torn about the car seat. I want to get the Mesa since it's so easy with the Cruz, but we need one that is super easy to buckle into taxis without using the base since we don't have a car. I really want to compare it with the cybex aton but haven't been able to see it in store yet, and the guy at the store we went to today didn't really know about base-less installation anyway

@LovelyPlum: @nana87: We bought the uppababy cruz too after realizing that my brother's vista just BARELY fit through the front door of our building and only after some maneuvering. We decided against the Mesa, however, because my brother had a terrible time with the seatbelt installation on his car and had to return it. I talked to The Car Seat Lady, who confirmed that the seatbelt installation on the Mesa presents a lot of problems that they need to fix.

@raintreebee: ooh I'm so glad to hear that about the Mesa's issue with the seat belt installation! mil was trying to convince us to just get it since it's on sale and seems so nice, but I def don't want to if it won't work with the seatbelt! Which car seat did you decide on instead?

@nana87: We went went the Graco Keyfit 35 Classic Connect. The Car Seat Lady said that would work well with our car (an old Honda CR-V) and would also be good for getting in and out of cabs. She was not a fan of the Click Connect, although I don't recall why!
