ALSO, I think you have to have your local store set up to receive coupons. So maybe y'all can try going to 'My Accounts' in the left menu and then 'My Store' - try setting up your store and see if that works for you!

@mrs. bird: Same as @HabesBabe:- and I already get baby deal coupons as a previous text thread came up when I entered the number. When I signed up again for general/mobile coupons after following the link it said get your first coupons in several weeks.

Omg this is awesome! I get the target coupon text messages (never bother to open them) but when I opened this weeks it was there! Heading out this afternoon
Do you have to tell them you want the expensive item rung up for free?

@photojane: Yup, still nothing... maybe because I have an Android? All the screen shots I see are of iPhones... not sure if the OS matters. WAHHHHHHHHHHH.

If it does work more than once, I'd send everyone a screenshot to use. I'm guessing it's linked to your account though...

@mrskc: Do you get the text message alerts from target? I had one from last week in my phone and I clicked on it and it sent me to the coupon.

@Pepper: I think when I signed up originally, I declined the text messages. I figured I didn't need them since I could always get the coupons from the app.

@photojane: I think it just doesn't work for people who didn't already have the app. I tried downloading it, signing up for mobile coupons, and adding two different stores, and nada. It seems like you had to have already gotten the previous week's batch of coupons!

@mrskc: so you've gotten their coupons before in the app? Did you flip to the second page of coupons? This is where mine is:
Side menu --> deals & coupons --> mobile coupons --> first page expires 11/16/13 --> swipe to page 2 of mobile coupons expiring 10/4/13 --> scroll down half way to accessory coupon.EDIT TO ADD: as a general request to those reading, please don't have cashiers scan the barcode pictured below in my pics- it won't give you the accessory coupon since it's already been used and it would take away my unused coupons if you are buying something applicable to other coupons since each code is unique and can only be used once. thank you!

I have this coupon and thought about using it. They won't scan the smaller value item after the higher one? I'm scared to see b/c I can just seem them scanning the high one first b/c it's high.

@MsMamaBear: it took off the higher priced one for me, I bought a pair of $2.38 clearance earrings, a $24.99 necklace and a 2 liter of diet coke for $4.17

@mrs. bird: yep, I've had this app for awhile and have always been able to get the coupons. This is what it looks like for me. Someone sent me a link to the text they got and I was able to get the coupon in my passbook. Hopefully it works!

I find the Target app to be very buggy. I initially got that "check back soon" message (I've had the Target app installed for a while now, and even accessed the coupons last night). What worked for me was to exit the app, go back in, wait for the front screen to fully load, and then click on the sequence of buttons to get me to the mobile app coupons. Not sure if that was a fluke, but worth a try!

@Arden: i thought since i got one as a text msg and there was one within the app, i would be able to use both offers, but because they're both linked to my cell phone number, i couldn't even though it didn't show as gray on my phone, the register came up with a msg saying 'this coupon has already been applied'. so i'm guessing you wouldn't be able to, but i don't know that for sure.

I have the mobile coupon but am afraid they will tell me I need the cheaper one for free.
Also, my target is crazy busy and over shopped so I am wondering how much they will have.
