Hi y'all! I want to get Sadie the blue Kidkraft vintage kitchen for Christmas, and because I'm a lunatic, I've already started looking. The cheapest I can find is $119. If between now and Christmas you see it for less than $100 somewhere, can you let me know? I'm open to the white too. Thanks friends!

@Smurfette: the uptown espresso one is taller than the vintage one, so I think it's a better investment. it's the one we have and my hubs jokes that it's a nicer kitchen than ours!

@Smurfette: my LO is 27 months ... and she LOVES hers. But man ... between the kitchen and all the play food it adds up! Just a heads up ... it comes with like 500 screws ... you may cry looking at all of them. It took me 3 hours to put it together. So bust out a bottle of wine .... and do it slowly after your LO goes to bed.

@Smurfette: @aegie: oh eff. DH hates assembling things, so that'll be my job...and I can't have any wine!! I didn't want to do it earlier than Christmas Eve because I have nowhere to hide it before Christmas morning, and she's pretty observant. Damn. How heavy is it? If I assemble upstairs in the new baby's room, would we be able to carry it downstairs somewhat easily? haha.

@sorrycharlie: I got it 2 days before her birthday and i thought i could whip it together during her nap. I was WRONG. To be fair, there are very good instructions and it's labeled so it's easy to put together. Just A LOT of putting together. It's heavy. But my hubs moved it up a long flight of stairs by himself, so it should be doable. Some choice words might be muttered, but totally doable.

@lawbee11: Ok, not sure if this is going to be the best deal between now and Christmas, but thought I'd let you know because it ends today. Walmart has the light pink kitchen for $116 with free site-to-store shipping. If you purchase through the ibotta app today you get $10 back, so the kitchen would essentially be $106+tax. I'm trying to decide if I want to bite the bullet or wait it out and see if I can find it under $100.

@Smurfette: @lawbee11: I went ahead and got it too! I had a $10 Walmart gift card, so it was only $88. I figured I wouldn't be able to beat that. We got it from the actual store, and the receipt checker guy said they go super fast around Christmas, and probably wouldn't even be there in a month!
When we saw it Sadie lost her mind. She was shrieking and RAN to it. She didn't want to leave it. Christmas should be fun!

@Smurfette: Which one do you prefer? I like the uptown, it just doesn't match our house. The pink one is super cute in person, though. It's really girly and cute. You should go to Sam's and check it out.
ETA: I'm not sure what will happen between now and Christmas, but the pink vintage is sold out at Walmart and Target. It's $145 on Amazon. If you decide to get it, I'd get it in the next few weeks!
