The Car Seat Lady said that would work well with our car (an old Honda CR-V) and would also be good for getting in and out of cabs. We decided against the Mesa, however, because my brother had a terrible time with the seatbelt installation on his car and had to return it. I'm still torn about the car seat. I want to get the Mesa since it's so easy with the Cruz, but we need one that is super easy to buckle into taxis without using the base since we don't have a car.
